La Sophrologie est une m\u00e9thode psychocorporelle cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00a0par un jeune neuropsychiatre : le Dr Alfonso Caycedo en 1960.<\/p>

Confront\u00e9 aux limites des moyens th\u00e9rapeutiques dont il disposait,
il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s’int\u00e9resser \u00e0 d’autres connaissances et pratiques pour limiter les souffrances de ses patients.<\/p>

Il s’est inspir\u00e9 de techniques d\u00e9j\u00e0 existantes en Occident (hypnose, techniques de relaxation, suggestions positives),\u00a0<\/p>

puis apr\u00e8s un long voyage \u00e0 travers l’Orient\u00a0<\/p>

La sophrologie est une discipline du domaine des sciences humaines\u00a0
qui se caract\u00e9rise par le fait d’\u00eatre avant tout une pratique.<\/p>

Elle emploie une m\u00e9thodologie originale, un ensemble de techniques
sp\u00e9cifiques et une p\u00e9dagogie visant \u00e0 l’autonomie.\u00a0<\/p>

Ces techniques,\u00a0qui vont \u00e0 la fois agir sur la respiration, la relaxation\/d\u00e9tente et les visualisations, permettent de mieux se connaitre, de mobiliser les ressources que l’on a en chacun de nous dans un objectif d’autonomisation et d’\u00e9panouissement.<\/p>

La Sophrologie permet d’acqu\u00e9rir une meilleure connaissance de soi

\u00a0Le sophrologue n\u2019est pas un psychoth\u00e9rapeute,
il ne cherchera pas \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter les sympt\u00f4mes, ni les ressentis des v\u00e9cus,
il ne s\u2019int\u00e9resse pas \u00e0 l\u2019inconscient
et ne cherche pas \u00e0 faire remonter des exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues refoul\u00e9es.<\/p>


Il peut, par contre, intervenir
de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s b\u00e9n\u00e9fique en compl\u00e9ment, et souvent en collaboration avec un m\u00e9decin,
